01Scope and roles
This Privacy Policy explains how even8 (“even8,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit our websites, use our event-intelligence platform, create an account, interact with sales or support, or otherwise use our services (collectively, the “Services”).
For account, website, and commercial relationship data, even8 generally acts as a data controller. When a customer submits or connects data for us to process on its behalf, even8 generally acts as a processor or service provider and the customer remains responsible for its instructions and lawful basis.
02Information we collect
- Account and business information: name, work email, phone number, company, role, login details, subscription plan, and billing contact.
- Workspace content: target profiles, event shortlists, notes, scoring preferences, uploaded lists, meeting objectives, and other material you submit.
- Integration and third-party data: information obtained through integrations you authorize, such as CRM, calendar, email, or event-data services, plus information from licensed providers and publicly available business sources.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser and device type, timestamps, features used, diagnostic logs, cookies, and similar technologies.
- Communications: support requests, feedback, survey responses, and sales or marketing interactions.
- Payment data: billing and transaction records. Full payment-card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by even8.
03How we use information
- Provide, secure, operate, troubleshoot, and support the Services.
- Create event recommendations, fit scores, account matches, research summaries, and other customer-requested outputs.
- Authenticate users, administer subscriptions, process payments, and communicate service notices.
- Improve product quality, develop features, perform analytics, and measure performance.
- Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
- Send product news or marketing where permitted; you may opt out at any time.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect rights and safety.
04AI and event intelligence
even8 may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to classify events, summarize information, match accounts or personas, and produce recommendations. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before business decisions or outreach.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to evaluate and improve the Services. We do not attempt to re-identify it.
05How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information with:
- Vendors that provide hosting, security, analytics, communications, support, payments, AI, or data processing under contractual restrictions.
- Integrations and third parties at your direction.
- Your organization’s account owners and administrators.
- Professional advisers, transaction counterparties, or a successor in a corporate transaction.
- Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, prevent harm, investigate abuse, or protect legal rights.
06Legal bases and transfers
Where required, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent. Legitimate interests include operating and improving a secure B2B service, supporting customers, and marketing responsibly.
Information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards such as contractual protections.
07Retention and security
We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, it is deleted, anonymized, or isolated from further use.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.
08Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, obtain a portable copy, or appeal a decision. You may complain to your local authority. We may verify your identity. Workspace users should first direct requests concerning customer-controlled data to their organization.
09Cookies, children, and third parties
We use necessary cookies and may use preference or analytics technologies. Browser controls can limit cookies, although some features may not work correctly. Our Services are for business users and not children under 18.
Third-party websites, datasets, and integrations have their own practices. This Policy does not govern them.
10Changes and contact
